SR EN ISO 22301:2020
Security and resilience. Business continuity management systems. Requirements
What is the ISO 22301:2020 standard?
The standard specifies requirements for implementing, maintaining, and improving a business continuity management system (BCMS), to help organizations enhance resilience against various unforeseen disruptions, ensuring the continuity of operations and services. It assists in risk identification, emergency preparedness, and improving recovery time. The standard can be implemented by organizations of all sizes wishing to establish a robust business continuity plan. The standard can be integrated with other ISO management standards, providing a comprehensive approach to organizational resilience.
What is a management system and why do we need one?
The international standard ISO 9000:2015 defines the term management system as “a set of interrelated or interacting elements of an organization to establish policies, objectives, and processes to achieve those objectives. A complete management system covers every aspect of management and focuses on supporting performance management to achieve objectives. The management system should be subject to continual improvement as the organization matures.
